A mother and daughter who killed a man after he broke into their Los Angeles County home and started attacking his ex-girlfriend will not face any charges, police have confirmed. The Los Angeles County Sheriff ' s Department said they are continuing to assist the South Pasadena Police Department with their investigation into the death of a man in his forties on Saturday morning. South Pasadena officers were called to the block Five Oaks Drive, South Pasadena, following reports of a domestic violence incident in progress. When officers arrived at the scene, they found the front window of the property shattered and could hear the sound of a woman screaming coming from inside. The officers entered the building through the broken window and found a white male suspect in his forties stabbed and beaten.

Exhausting all other options, the father shot the man , critically wounding him and putting an end to the violence. The parents were in their home when they heard the screams of their daughter from outside. They saw her boyfriend, year-old Vincent Moore assaulting her, causing her to bleed from the mouth and face. Concerned for their safety, the father shot Moore.
